Joan Hartigan

Joan Hartigan won the Australian singles championships three times (1933, 1934 and 1936) as well as the mixed title in 1934.

She also reached the Wimbledon singles semifinals in 1934 and 1935.

She married Hugh Bathurst in 1947.

Hartigan passed away on 31 August 2000; she was posthumously inducted into the Australian Tennis Hall of Fame in 2022.
